I am so so excited I got my acceptance into Tennessee State University’s graduate school today!!! Classes start Tuesday though and I have no idea about where to live and don’t know much about Nashville. Anyone have any advice or recommendations for that area? Ahh this is so fast.. is this really happening?!

I know how comforting it is to know you’re not the only one going through it and that there are people who understand. I have been there before, and I promise it does get better once you find something that helps you. Thank you to everyone for the support and encouragement! (despite my years in college, I couldn’t figure out how to reply to all your responses) but really, you all make the difference each day, and I hope that at least sometimes I can do the same for each of you!?
You know how people say your life can change in a second? Well, that just happened. I just got off the phone with a graduate school in Tennessee and I have a phone interview with them tomorrow morning before they process my acceptance. OMG! I was waitlisted at a handful of graduate schools and had given up hope and just planned on reapplying. But, holy shit this just happened. I’m so nervous, excited and don’t know what to think.. Oh yeah, and if I get accepted tomorrow I have to move this weekend because classes start Tuesday!
A 20 something gluten free gal, psychology and exercise physiology major. I'm very passionate about exercise and nutrition. Getting my certification in personal training this summer. I am obsessed with running and Pilates. I really think you are what you eat, and in that case I am mostly fruits & veggies and a whole lot of tea. I love tea.. I probably drink way too much of it actually but as everyone says, yolo.
